Aveo mod of the century/bored out cupholder

Dear Aveonauts,
If you're anything like me, you fell madly in love with your Aveo before realizing its/his/her only glaring fault: the front cupholder isn't wide enough to accomodate your TMOC (travel mug of choice, duh), a wide mouth pint mason jar. This morning I endeavored to remedy GM's unthinkable error. I fired up my trusted ski waxing clothes iron to WOT (the linen setting) and lovingly caressed the hot hot plastic lava back about 1/4" all around until my coffee-containing companion slipped right in. Never again will I reach back to the rear cupholder, fumbling around in the void in search off my coffee and wasting precious milliseconds when my right hand should be on the shifter making maximum use of this regal steed's powerband. My Aveo is now certified perfect.
