How to stick lettering back on the Aveo trunk

      Hi,
A few years ago, I decided to remove the silver plastic lettering from the trunk of my Aveo - I thought it would look cool. The lettering is undamaged and I would like to stick it back on - does anyone know how to do this? It looks like this,

It was stuck in place with some sort of grey adhesive tape,
Thanks if anyone can give me any advice,

One of the best double stick tapes you can get is carpet tape. So look at the hardware store. It means cutting the tape to fit the lettering. You can hit art stores and look for a more narrow double stick tape. If you have to cut it, stick it to wax paper first then cut.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

3M emblem adhesive. I've used it for years. Never fails.
