      Broken Grille

Well I no sooner put new snow tires on the car then a half hour later My son bumped into a truck and busted the grille. Does anyone know a good place for a grille reasonable? I have been looking on ebay but the pictures don't look right. My car is an 09
Here is a pic of the damage.

This one will fit, you just will have to carefully remove the "bowtie" and get some 3M double-sided molding tape from Autozone to attach it to the new grille.

      Hope this helps.

being an 09, it may be more difficult, but I always suggest junkyard parts. instead of paying for ebay and waiting for shipping, you pull it and pay at most 20% of the cost of what you would have paid for. try junkyards! I see your in pittsburg, I live in york on the weekends ill look around and let you know if I find anything

Thanks, Anyone know how difficult they are to get off? Is it just a matter of taking out the screws on top?

if its like the hatch (no sure since completely different), you have to pull the bumper and undo clips and screws.

I think you could get the top grill out without pulling the bumper, but it wouldnt be easy (again on the hatch).

Just go with the Holden Barina sedan grille. Looks like it would fit and give you the unique look.2009-holden-barina2-jpg

Once again my situation was a bit different since I have an 04, but the grill was very easy to get off. I forget the vocab term, but there are plastic screws/retainers with legs that spread out when they are through the screw hole and they need to be squished together in order to be removed. couldn't find the exact picture but Something like this...

You are right, your situation was different. 04 - 06 was a lot easier as far as the grille removal. 07 and up the design of the front end changed completely... Looks like it might actually require the bumper removal.

Crap...and just how hard is the bumper removal? Does it need to come all the way off? Is it hard to realign?
