2007 Aveo 5 Exhaust Flex Pipe

Is anyone having as much trouble as I am with the flex pipe part of the exhaust? I seem to break mine about every 3 months. I do have cold air on it I guess it could be the extra torque from that. Lol.

The only flex section I know is up front under the cat. Maybe you have a problem with your engine mounts and I would check those first.

Hi, yes that is the section I was talking about. I was thinking motor mounts but wasn't sure if it was a knowing problem with the aveo's. Thank you I will check into see if they are bad.

Check the motor mount going towards the back. That will limits the rotation of the engine caused by torque. Directly center just behind the engine.
