      turbo option

      anyone ever think of doing a rear mounted turbo in our aveos? it sounds very logical

      but this seems to be a simple enough concept that it could be pieced together from one of their sets

      If you take a look under an Aveo, you will quickly see that there is not enough room for the turbo, let alone the piping that has to go back to the front of the car. Unless you like having a turbo heating up the gas tank.

      Just like every other car thats not a civic, you can make it work it just needs to be a custom setup. Get yourself a welder and go wild. Its really not that difficult.

      The longer the pipes the longer the lag, then getting a big enough for a complete custom setup turbo lags anyhow. Might not be noticeable on a car with a v8 wedged in somewhere that has no room for turbos, but on a 1.6 you'll be waiting for boost until it's time to shift.
