      is 10W 30 too thick

      im pretty sure that in the manul u can either use 10w 30 or 5w 30

      You could run it but I would recommend running the thinnest oil possible. Engines are designed with such tight tolerances now and you want the oil to be thin enough to get to every possible spot. Also, thinner oil does improve gas mileage and power (although it's minimal) by reducing parasitic drag on the crankshaft. On occasion I run 0W20 synthetic but just when the parts guys at work are to lazy to order anymore 5W30 synthetic.
