Need help, I want to install Water,Oil, volt gauges.

Have any of you installed a set of these gauges?. I would like to know how my little motor is doing so I'm looking into installing a water temp, oil press. and volts gauges.
I've never done this before and need to know where to attach the sending units.
      Can you help?.

Voltage connects to the positive on the alternator...

Oil pressure you need a sandwich plate to pull a feed from (since we don't have any factory ones)

Water temp... what does the probe look like? I'm not sure of a good place to put it off the top of my head...

for the oil pressure you normally just drill a hole in the pan, and then tap it for a fiting. run your hose from there

The pan isn't pressurized by the pump, it is by blow-by. That's not an accurate place to put it at all...

for the oil pressure you could also get a "T" fitting off the factory oil pressure sending unit which is the little thing down and to the side of your oil filter.

      Oil pan = oil tem

Volt - alternator or even battery

Water - depends on the gauge, probably just tap a water line like your heater feed or throttle body heater, etc..

      water temp gauge

I have an Optra and recently installed the AEM Digital Water Temp gauge. Works great, very fast response and accurate.

      Link to the gauge: http://aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=76

Some pics of the install (installed into the thermostat housing):
