How to disable rev limiter on 2009?

Max out my aveo for 5 days in a row now to 170km/h and it just stays 170 clicks at 4,100 revs. I know speedometer says 200km/h and a car has a lot of extra RPMs left. Anyone in here knows how to disable rev limiter on 2009

automatic? my manual does not limit to 4100..

you have a speed limiter maybe? in km, that could be a "country" thing.

What year and model is your Aveo? What engine do you have?

its not a race car...rev limiters are there for a reason

Why would you want to go faster then 170?? These cars werent made for speeds like that, especially if you have the stock suspension and crappy 14 inch tires.

Sounds to me like your car has a speed limiter, which cant be removed unless your ecu is reprogrammed, and the dealer is not going to do that.

Once again, these cars are not made to go that fast, do yourself and your car a favor.

Well i do have the suspension setup and the rubber under it to be able to go that fast, but its not like im pushing the car at those speeds very often. Most of the time its on the dragstrip, it happens on the road but i make sure i cant endanger anyone else's life in case im too retard to drive that fast.

The fastest ive gone with mine is around 215-220 kph, hard to tell because the speedo stops at 200. That was before i put the turbo on. My 4th gear hasnt even tasted boost yet lol.
