      fuel filter

      anybody know what size they are? i want to get a performance filter.

      Performance filter? There's really no point unless your running a higher flowing pump and bigger injectors. And if i'm not mistaken, the filter is part of the sending unit in the tank.

      according to the search just did it appears to be in line. but looks to be back by the tank.. not sure.. there is a pick up screen/sock in the tank, i am sure.

      As far as performance, i think the flow rating on the stock filter is high enough for almost anything you can do with an aveo.. if my search was correct, it is the same filter on V8s and Jaguars.

      (my search revealed the aveo uses a HAGF111 fuel filter, might not be right )

      The search function said there was one but I remember looking on my '07 and there wasn't an in-line filter.

      does daewoo put them on the firewall like ford sometimes does?

      i will have to look tomorrow. but my car has some differences from yours.. (its an 09)
      that and we are supposed to get some snow and it will be cold.

      Its under the vehicle beside the spare tyre well.
