      Engine Repair on 04 Aveo

      Yep Timing Belt broke and it has been three weeks and counting for repairs. Talked to mechanic and he now tells me that a 6mm drill bit is needed to seat the valve guides and guess what they have to make it at the factory. The cost is rising almost daily and frustration is mounting. Any ideas on who to contact would be helpful. I think GM needs to explain what is going on.

      id ask to keep that drill bit when they are done LOL.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      aveoman, how many miles did you have on your aveo when it broke?

      Chevoo-1/2 Chevy, 1/2 Daewoo. I mean like WTF?
