      Clutch Position Sensor

I had a trouble code no. P0807: Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Low in my chevy aveo 2009 and I do not know what it means and where I can find this sensor.

It is located on the top of the clutch pedal assembly, under the kick panel.

Try starting your car without pressing down the clutch pedal. If it starts, you have a malfunctioning CPS. It can also do the opposite and not allow you start to start the car because it's not reading that you have the clutch depressed.

I swap ecotec engine 1.6 l and the complete wires of us aveo 2009 in my aveo 2007. I make OBDII scan and I had the error P0807 (clutch position sensor circuit low). I replaced my clutch pedal with a complete pedal with the sensor and connect the white plug with the sensor plug. the result is that DTC P0807 was cleared when I scan the ECU many times. but the sensor did not work I mean I can start my car without pressing the clutch pedal.
I ask if there is a plug may be under the driving wheel cover may be unplugged. The sensor taking the command from ECU and can not send it to the ignition system.

Sorry for necro, but I saw this thread, tried starting my car without clutch pushed in, and it started just fine. Is this a sign my CPS is faulty regardless of which engine/model I have?
