I need a new cat. I was looking for something cheaper then oem. Only direct fit i could find was around 270. Has anyone replaced the stock cat with something after market? I haven't been able to find anything small enough to fit.

Yes but it wouldnt fit on the exhaust manifold so I had to relocate it to under the oil pan

you can check for universal cats by size on jegs.com. not sure of the dimensions you are looking for (dont know what oem is) but its probably on of the widest selections, other than trolling ebay or searching yahoo.

I hear 2 passes of a one inch hole saw work good too.. ( did i say the out loud?)
