I own two Aveos. A 05 and an 06. Both are manual transmission cars. I must replace the gear oil in the 06 since when I pulled the CV axle it allowed all the gear oil to drain. I cannot find any plugs whatsoever on the transmission. Anywhere. Can someone point out specifically, perhaps in photos, where this plug supposedly is? It's quite frustrating.

FYI, looks like there isn't any "trick" to removing the differential cover. Just takes some force to break it free from the gasket.

Rotareneg...do you remember....when you changed your gear oil, where was the fill plug? Did you see the fill plug from the left side (drivers side), or from the right (passenger) side. I am looking at mine from the drivers side...and the only thing that I see that might make sense is an allen bolt. All other bolts from the drivers side seem to be for structure.

      Many thanks!!

Easier way to put it in is to get a long funnel and to unbolt the shift fork cover, carefully slide to the right and fill from there until it runs out the bottom hole. Took like 5 mins top to fill like that. Had to buy a junkyard trans since my oem one got a hole after my pressure plate grenaded.

It's supposed to get manual transmission fluid you can get it at auto zone it's made by penzoil and it's gl3 it costs about 8.99 a quart either get a pump that screws on the bottle or cut the top and stick a straw through it to fill the tranny there is only one fill plug you fill it until it starts coming out the plug is right above the passenger side axle on the transmission
