      Update Time

Ok, so here is the deal. Somewhere between Monday and today my car seems to be doing pretty well, except for when you go between 40 and 55, this is when the shuddering and shaking and the hold light blinking thing goes on, so is this a good thing? any one have a clue, because I am stumped and I am not a mechanic.

No codes for flashing Hold Light, but when both Engine and Hold light blink it a P0300. Multiple Misfire.

Well you have been at this problem for sometime. The wise answer is to not drive 40-55 which is damn impossible.

So did you go through and check your grounds. This means you take a multimeter and find the ground pin (not shield ground) on the wires going to the coil pack. At then measure the resistance between that connector and the battery terminal. There are two ground on the Aveo 1) To the Starter (duh) 2) and to the frame next to the battery to the right (from front).

You had mentioned it might be a transmission problem. Did you find out anything there?

And lastly I wonder if the cams are out of alignment.

Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
