Saw my first ad for the 2012 Aveo (magazine)

EDIT: the legalese small print at the bottom of the page says:

Spark and Aveo RS pre-production models shown. Product specification in production may vary from that shown, some features are cost options. Spark coming Summer 2012. Aveo coming Fall 2011

Not sure why they showed the Aveo RS concept instead of the production version of the car that was revealed last week.

The copy is upside down because the entire ad was printed upside down on the back page.

GM had a lot of ads in this issue - sort of sponsored the issue, which was about innovation/creativity.

Looked at that ad again and noticed a couple of interesting things:

First: the RS concept has no door handles on the front doors. (The actual concept did.)

Second, the legalese small print at the bottom says:

Third, that graphic at the bottom of the page is supposed to get you more info if you have the phone app for it:

Step 1: go to http://getscanlife.com on your smartphone and download the free application.

Step 2: launch scanlife, then scan the code for exclusive content.

I don't have a smart enough phone to do this, but if someone else wants to, it'd be interesting to see if there's more info about the next gen car that we don't already know.

It is pretty clever. They say "Hey, look at our small cars. Now, look at our larger more expensive cars." Makes sense to me.
