      Rain Days

sooo normally with the aveo if its raining or roads are wet at all, i stay home, cuz i have done more than my fair shair of sliding out of control when attempting to make even the slightest of turns, or hitting pretty much any puddle big enough to send water shooting off the side of the road....but not anymore yesterday is was pouring, and i was cruising down one of the most flooded streets in my area, it was sooo nice to be able to accelerate w/o having my back tires go a-wol on me...man leaving assholes in the dust when the road is too wett for them to keep up is very pleasing...

Got rid of the stock kumhos?
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Haha yea with the right tires you can decimate all on any surface... as long as your opponent can't keep traction, that is...

Thought they came with Hankook's from the factory...

I've got great winter tires and basically no one can keep up with me here. And I'm not even pushing it.

      Re: Rain Days

well my new tires are pretty bad ass compared to the stock ones (i know thats a given, but im really exicted that i dont slide any more, and my tires grip when i give them gas)

gotta check exact brand of the new tires, here in texas u gotta pretty much have somethin that does well in both rain and dry, cuz that day it was raining, like several inches, looked like a tropical storm, 12 hrs later it looked like it hadn't rained in weeks, like the only left over signs of rain were a few soft spots in the flower beds...

snow, whats that? lol We dont get snow, we get ICE, and man is it a bitch...
