No on the spare, did you check the pressure of all your tires? It should still be under warranty, take it to the dealer and have them check it/clear it, I doubt it is any thing that matters.

Welcome to the forums Thomas! This whole TPMS thing is very new to me as well. Not in my 04 Aveo but in the new Cruze I just bought. Still getting used to that.
