if the car was running and in good shape, maybe 7000-8000 max, for a parts car, now that depends on how messed up it is if that is what you are asking

      Re: Greetings, question.

well, it depends on alot of things. If you have to ask, then I would suggest you don't do this. I'm not trying to be mean or belittle you, just being honest. Whoever is going to sell it, is not going to sell it for what the motor is worth alone. If you have this same style aveo (08 and up) you should not need a parts car if your daily drivin your aveo unless you really futzed up ur cars front end. Some questions I guess to ask here:
are you knowledgeable of fixin cars?
      do you really need this?
      what's it worth to you?
do you live in close proximity to it?
do you have the storage space?
are you planning to destroy ur dd aveo soon?
      does it run(scrap aveo)?
will you really need to buy a whole parts car so you can take fare of little bs probs like bad sensors and what not, which, versus going to the parts store and ordering the sensor would most likely be more feesible?
do you really need this type of investment and the type of headaches it can bring?
I know there's more, but I'm tired right now.

$1000-$2000... This would be a good parts car if you're doing a front end conversion on a first gen hatch/sedan. Or if your Aveo was in a light front end collision and you decided to keep it and fix it yourself.

Deathwish, are you the seller or the buyer in this case?

      Re: Greetings, question.

I’d go no higher then $2000 for the wreck, but only for the parts. I wouldn’t rebuild it at all, you can pull the motor and trannie and a few other front end parts.

Well, since he didn't answer any questions we asked him and that was his ONLY post on this forum, it's pretty safe to say it's another one of those spam/advertisement type of links where he might actually be promoting the auction site instead of actually being interested in buying it himself... just a thought....

      Re: Greetings, question.

      I think you're right, Sergey.

I was going to kill the thread the first time I saw it, but a few people had already replied to it, and the info posted isn't wasted or anything. The same day this thread started, there was another new user who posted a link to the same site. Coinky ? I killed that one - it was more obviously spammy.

So I'm just going to break the link instead, so they don't benefit from the direct link. If people really want to see it, they can still copy/paste/fix the URL in their browser.
