Check Engine for the O2 sensor

      hi,
my question is about a Chevy Aveo model 2013, i purchased from a local dealer in Egypt (Mansour), from the date i purchased when i remove the battery for any reason and then re-connect it the check engine lamp comes up, then i have to redo the action, removing the battery and re-connect it till solving the issue, but lately the check engine lamp comes up every time i go for a steady driving over an open road after 10 mins for max, this happen after removing the battery too. I have a OBD II module, which i keep it running during any long trip, the car controller gives me just one error code , (P0134), which refers to the O2 sensor, the O2 sensor reads normally at the beginning of the trip however after a few mins the O2 sensor readings comes stable at 0.4 then the check engine lamp comes up, if i stop the engine and re-start it sometimes the O2 sensor readings comes normal (up and down) for a few mins before going to the steady state again.I think the O2 sensor is working properly and the problem comes form the car controller, how can i know the software version of the car controller and if it needs an upgrade and how can i make the upgrade if necessary?

      thank you in advance.

      thank you xintersecty,
but the video testing the O2 sensor, however i need to know the effect of the car controller on the O2 readings, as i think my O2 sensor is ok but after some driving time the controller neglecting the sensor reading giving it a pre-defined value.

If the O2 sensor isn't showing a variable reading like it should I would probably replace the sensor. It may have a short it in that only shows up after things are all warmed up.

A lot of people say the 'computer goes bad' or things like that. In all the fixes I've ever done and even read about, that is not the case more than 99% of the time.

thank Daox, i have an OBD II scanner and if the driving is not on a high way, which means the speed and motor RPM in a rapid change mode the O2 sensor readings keep up and down and the computer doesn't monitor any issues, however when driving on a high way in a steady state speed and RPM for about 10 mins the sensor readings come close to a fixed value and the computer replaces it with a pre-set value (0.5 or 0.4) and light the check engine, if you restart the engine the readings of the o2 senor return back to the normal operation (rapid up and down). that is way i think the issue is related to the computer, what do you think?

I wonder if the wiring is getting too hot and messing up causing a break (read as high value).
