      Aveo RS is here!

Just like I predicted , the new Aveo RS hatch and Sedan are going on sale across the US this fall. Only its not called Aveo anymore, its called 'Sonic'. The car looks nice, very similar to the prototype. Here is the link in case u guys want to check it out. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic | Compact Cars | Chevrolet

I see no RS.....and We knew it was gonna be called the Sonic. I just built an LTZ model...it seems a little steep. and the 1.4T motor has the same horsepower as the 1.8 NA? doesn't seem right

base model sedan is 13.7K ?! thats not bad.. too bad the hatch base is almost $1000 more.

And only $16.4 for a 1.4t 6 speed.. not too too bad?

I saw one at the mall last weekend here in Canada. Pretty good looking car. It was fully loaded, had the leather interior, the aluminum wheels, the spoiler and the sunroof....etc couldn't open the hood and check it out though.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

Its not ecxately the RS, the RS was a prototype, but this is the car based on it, it wont get any closer than that for now, maybe next year it will be better. 1.4 turbo same as the Cruze engine.

I wonder if the 6 speed will have the same tall gearing as the Cruze Eco...sounds intriguing but a turbo hatch with a sunroof is close to 19k. I want AC, Cruise, Turbo, and a sunroof. The only way to get that is to also pay for 17's, fake leather, and an overpriced crap stereo. For a lot of my driving, 15's are more practical.

Looks like it will be a nice car, but I paid just under $9200, no trade, out the door for my 2010...19k would be pretty hard to swallow.
