      wipers,clock and radio quit working

2005 aveo --- my car broke timing belt. I fixed all that and after I put the car back together now the radio and clock have no power. although the fuses are good. and the wipers blow the fuse even when the wiper motor is unpluged. I cant figure out what is going on. please help

You have a short in the electrical system somewhere. You'll have to narrow down where it is coming from which isn't an easy or fun job.

where to start?? sense both fuses service two different things. Is it possible that a relay could be shorting out on the wipers ? as far as the stereo goes there must be another link under the dash ?

You'll have to find out what else is on the circuit and find out what is blowing the fuses.

Figured it out. The stereo was shorting out. unplugged it and the wipers work fine.

Thats my experiance with gm products, 2 conpletly unrelated systems can share the same harness, for example on the trucks if the door dinger fuse goes, the radio cluster also goes dead.
