its in the rear somewhere. ive heard of it being in 2 different places. ive heard its actually part of the fuel pump (makes no sense) and ive heard its under the rear seat somewhere(in that area).

have you tried following your fuel lines to see if you can find it somewhere in there?

I've got the feeling it is built into the fuel pump. I looked in the factory service manual and could not find it. Weird.

Re: Where is the Fuel Filter.....

in my book it says to change it at 45,000 km....

seems odd to drop the tank and swap the fuel pump from that....

      any gm Techs here?

Re: Where is the Fuel Filter.....

Hey guys I checked in my catalogues today when I got to work and it says the fuel filter is not serviced. It also says changing the fuel filter requires you to change the fuel pump. This is actually becoming more common I see it all the time when shops are doing tune-ups.

i just got mine changed at the workshop, it's on the right side of the car right in front of the rear torsion beam. Has to be accessed from under the vehicle.
