      Question Help with connector

I have a 2008 Aveo LS sedan with 1.6 engine. after looking at the thread on how to add cruise and referring to the Chiltons manual for my car the connector that goes through my firewall has grey on the top and white on the bottom. The Thread has them reversed. The white plug wires don't go with Chiltons white plug wires. Would like help figuring this out. Wires out of white plug are as follows pin 1 yellow pin 2 brown pin 3 orange/black pin 4 purple pin 5-7 not used pin 8-9 grey pin 10 blue pin 11 orange/black 12 brown pin 13 not used pin 14 green pin 15-16 not used pin 17 yellow and pin 18 purple.

Ok this plug is the closest match to the wires on my plug with the exception of no wire at pin 7 and a wire at pin 17 and 18. Don't want to pay someone to tell me what these wires are and if this is the correct plug.

      Solved

OK that was my plug. I just hooked up the wires to pin 5 and pin 12 and it worked. So that is the connection I have just mine has two extra wires that I have no clue in what they are for.
