Check Engine Light Flashes. dnt know where the Connector is to check

My Chevy Aveo 06' LS's Check Engine light comes on and goes off(Some days its on Some days not).

So i took it to Autozone as they offer free check engine light check.. the Technician looked for the connector to connect hand held device but he could not. he told me its usually behind the Ashtray or in gloves compartment...

Can Any Body tell me where is that connecter?

The OBD2 port is under the driver side dash. The flashing light means some sort of transmission problem, does the car run good (must be an automatic, does it shift good?)

that guy is an idiot, ask for another person to hook you up. 99% of the cars the plug is right under the dash by the steering wheel

hunter you have hold light and check engine light confused, a flashing check engine light means misfire that can harm the engine (suggest not to drive during flashing issues). if you just did the plugs, either the wires are not on correctly, or they were damaged in the removal.
