      brake light switch problem

      Hey guys... its been a WHILE since i posted here.. my wifes 08 aveo had the shifter lock up in park 3 days ago. I got home to find the rear brake lights not working either. I replaced the brake switch and everything was fine. She texts me today to let me know that its locked again and brake lights again arent workin. This sounds like a problem at the fuse box if 2 switches burnt out in a few days.

      I remember seeing an issue before where wires were overheating and melting.. has anybody had this happen? What did you do to fix it? Does anybody have an idea?
