Aveo wont start

Mother-in-laws 2006 aveo apparently started smoking the othe week on the highway. She pulled over when safe and it hasnt started since.

My brother-in-law and i have replaced the valve cover gasket as there was oil in the plugs. Replaced spark plug wires and spark plugs, too. Timing belt and water pump were done in the spring. Recent oil change by my MIL at some shop. Fuses seem to be ok. Have fuel to rail, but it doesnt SEEM to get fuel to cylinders.

Compression test showed 155/160/165/180.

Car just does NOT want to start.

Does that mean you sprayed carb cleaner or starter fluid into the intake and it ran for a few seconds? If not, try that and see what happens.

Smoking, along with those compression numbers suggests a head gasket problem, so it would be good to do a leak down test, in order to confirm what's going on. However, it should still start and run given the compression you listed, so something else must be preventing it from starting. If it won't run on the outside fuel, then it would seem there's no spark.
