2006 Aveo Heater Not Working

Hey guys,

I got into my 06 Aveo this morning and the heater blower was not working in any setting. Is the blower bad, is it a fuse/relay? How can I check?

Was it blowing any air at all or no?
If not, try turning it on full blast, and slamming your glove box shut.

If it starts blowing after that, it's your blower motor.
That's all I know about this subject, that's how mine is right now.

It's not blowing at all on any setting. Which really sucks with negative temperatures outside!

I'll try the glovebox thing. Maybe kickstart it into working for a few minutes.

I wouldn't have any idea other than slamming the glovebox fairly hard, it takes a coupe tries slamming it with mine, don't be scared to give it a little hell, you can either slam it or bump it rather hard.

Sometimes if I hit a bump driving down the road it knocks it on.

If that doesn't work I have no idea what it'd be.
(I'm not a mechanic, just having the same problems)

I had to get mine serviced under warranty. blower motor resistor was the culprit they said. There is a TSB on it.
