2004 Aveo Issue

In my opinion it is probably a mixture of sand blast agent that was left in the head by the remanufacturing company. It chewed up the cam shaft journals in the head, probably got stuck in the oil channel so that the head was oil starved and that's why it ran for 10 to 15 minutes perfectly fine and then crapped out.

I don't have any proof and the warranty from the head re-manufacturer only covers the part so my engine is ruined. What good is a crappy remanufactured head if you don't have an engine to put it on. Add on top of that, my wife doesn't trust me as far as she can throw me now (after having lost $2,000), so she's not going to put any more money into the car at all.
