Not surprisingly (?), South Korea will be the first country to get the next generation Aveo.

Goes on sale next month (mid-March 2011):

GM Korea unveiled its latest subcompact, the Chevrolet Aveo at a launch event in Seoul on Wednesday. Slated to roll out in mid-March, it is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine and boasts a fuel efficiency of 14.8km/l for the hatchback model.

The Aveo is expected to carry a price tag of between W12.8 million and W15.59 million (US$1=W1,120), which will likely put it in direct competition with Hyundai Motor’s new Accent scheduled to launch next month.
