If you're really interested in increasing your mileage I'd highly suggest getting a Scangauge (either one will work fine). It'll allow you to monitor your driving and improve your gas mileage. I have one in each of my cars that I drive daily.

Best mpg: 37.7. No fluke either because I got 425 miles out of that tank. All highway, 65mph.
Worst mpg: 26.7 (aside from first 1000 miles when the engine was being broken in).
In total, avg of 32 mpg, 40k continuous miles recorded.

What year Aveo do you drive Fighting Irish ? Auto or maual tranny ?
