      2006 Chevrolet Aveo LS Hatchback

My name is Joseph and My mom recently gave me her paper route car that has been on the job for four years. We was going to buy a toyota yaris but the car had seven hundred miles on it and the dealer would not come down and we walked. Since Then it's been a reliable car on the paper route and when I needed to go to college. The car gets thirty Miles per gallon on the paper route and thirty-five for highway driving. This car is fun to drive and is very fast The 1.6L engine only has 103 HP but my dad's Impala can't keep up with it, and that's saying something I passed three School buses going 65 MPH. The car has 90,670 miles other than changing the oil every 3,000 miles the car relatively has no problems but a word of caution ordering parts for this car is a nightmare. They have be ordered from South Korea I recently changed the Power Steering Pump on the car and it was terrible but I was able to fix the car and all the sounds that the car made before is gone the car steers like a dream and can now handle a curve at sixty-miles per hour. When my mom made me choose between the Impala and her aveo I chose the AVEO because I love the car and can fix it with no problems. My nickname for the car is Black Betty it is clearly visible on the passenger door.

I just recently washed it the other day and it looks better. My friend wants to put a six cylinder in the car but I don't know if it will fit.

Your better bet would be going with a bigger 4 cylinder from a Daewoo and turboing it... just browse around the forum and you will see that its a lot easier way to go about getting a more powerful Aveo.

Did I forget to mention that my parents hit a deer in this car as you can see the only damage is the hood in the front where the grill is.
