E-TEC II underdrive pulley group buy - 1st gen. Aveo (Pulleys are sent!)

Note this pulley is for the E-TEC-II motor, '04-'08 1.6L (in North America anyway).

I've gotten my quotes back from the shops. So, I am now looking to get a list of who is actually going to be ordering a pulley.

Installation instructions: How to install your underdrive crankshaft pulley .

For more information on what an underdrive pulley is and its development, see the underdrive pulley development thread.

The price for the pulley will be $135 plus $5 for shipping ($140 total). Payments can be sent via paypal to: sales@aveoforum.com

If your name is not shown below, you are not on the list to get a pulley, so PM me or post here!

      Group buy list:

      1) * thehunterooo
      2) * reddemonx92
      3) AveoSS
      4) * pltice
      5) * xintersecty
      6) * NYChevroo
      7) tidus10
      8 ) * One Man Jam
      9) timmytaxi

      * paid

Here is a picture of what you'll be getting.

So we just send you a payment of 135 to your paypal? and will it decrease if more people buy? or is that a flat rate?

Cool, I'm also interested, I checked the other thread, so, here a few questions:
Do you know how much lighter than a stock?
Is it gona be smaller in diameter? by how much?
If smaller will we have to use a smaller belt?
You have any ballpark idea on hp gains?
      Thnks

Yeah, once we have the list of people, you'll send the payment.

I got a good price on the pulleys, so we'd have to get 15+ buyers to even consider getting a lower price. Last I checked in the other thread I had 6, possibly 9 people that were interested in the pulley. So, I don't see it likely that the price will go lower.

The stock pulley is just over 5 lbs. The underdrive pulley is just over 1 lb. It is also roughly 15% smaller. I do not believe you'll have to replace the belt, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Rough estimate for hp gains is 2-4 hp.

Where in the curve should this power increase come around? Are we talking peak, or a gain across the board?

I will be getting my pulley at the same time as everyone else. This helps keeps the costs down. Having a single pulley made would cost at least 2x as much just for the one pulley.

I'll try and see if I can find a way to calculate if a shorter belt will be needed, but don't hold your breath.
