      Re: Little Engine That Could

      NEW UPDATE ON MY VEO.

GOT USED 17IN RIMS TSW THEY ARE SRT4 RIMS AND ARE DISCONTINUED...

IT WAS A PROCESS AND AN INTERESTING ONE AT THAT TO GET THEM ON...IF YOU LIKE TO HEAR WHAT HAPPENED GO TO FORUM WHEELS, DRIVETRAIN, RIMS. OR WHATEVER AND ITS AND ITS SRT4 RIMS THAT WONT FIT BUT IMMA MAKE IT....

AN EXTREMEMLY LOWERED CIVIC SI WANTED MY 14IN CAUSE HIS 17 SCRAPED THE FENDERS AND ALWAYS CRACKED THEM. HES A FRIEND OF OURS FROM MY HUSBANDS JOB. SO WE SWITCHED THEM. DID IT ALL OUR SELFS AND AT NO COST TO BOTH OF US. MY 14S WERE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE N NO SCRATCHES AT ALL. BUT THE 17S I HAVE NOW ARE PRETTY MESSED UP SO. I NEED TO KNO HOW TO PAINT THEM IF ANYONE HAS SOME THREADS THAT CAN HELP.

IM THINKING GETTING SANDABLE PRIMER. PRIME IT AND SAND IT. THEN APPLY BLACK COATS OF PAINT N THEN A CLEAR COAT. NOT SURE OF CLEAR COAT I THINK I WANT TO KEEP IT A LITTLE BIT ON THE FLAT BLACK SIDE......SO ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE. I LOVE PEOPLES INPUT.

Those wheels look great. I would not paint them black with your metallic blue body color, silver looks great.

      Re: Little Engine That Could

Yea it does but it really does need it. Up close its scratched up and just dented alot! Real bad. I would've left them aline if it wasn't so bad. I dnt like my car being rugged like that. Plus my
Theme for my car is all black n blue I'm not fond of chrome or silver I reeeallly dnt like it. I wanted black rims from the get go

Hey Evy, your car is up there now (randomly, as usual)...

Sorry for the delay. Got struck by a sudden bout of laziness, followed by some computer problems that took me a while to sort out.

I think the delay was actually good since she had time to put new rims on. Looks better that way.

No problem at all. Telling Darin (metrompg) to do the work is pretty easy.
