Now...

Question of the day:
Should I re-coat the header to match the CAI Intake tubes?
Or leave it in the brighter silver.

I love the dark gray on the intake, but is it worth the cash?

It's gonna change color slightly when it's hot anyways. Might as well save your money for the next part.

you can save the color a little by coating the inside of the tubes with high temp ceramic paint.
(this is a trick i learn to keep chrome from turning colors)

But most of the paint for the header wont last in the long run, nor be a perfect match. If anything, scuff it lightly and spend $7 on a can of VHT semigloss black in 1200 degree i think. it will match it up a little but, make it stealthy, but most important is help with heat which is good for hp too.

I would probably take to a friend's shop to be ceramic coated inside and out. Did not check, but, it's probably not currently coated interiorly.
