Yeah its ok now, musta been water in the fuel system, and boy there musta been alot cause it took a good 3-4 tanks before it started to stop doing it.

Gaz line anti freeze would have fixed it much faster...but glad it's all good!

I used gas line antifreeze in the 1st 2 tanks too lol

It must be due to heavy condensation in the gas tank, cause i kept it pretty low, almost at the point where the light comes on for a while and we had really cold weather followed by very mild weather, the change happened very quickly so it probly produced codensation in the tank.

I keep it above 1/2 now hahah

that gas additive is preventative. not a repair.

what i usually do is put a gallon of denatured alcohol into a tank if the gas is questionable. i dont not recommend this if you do not know the implications. For instance denatured alcohol is @ 114 octane, can/will break down gaskets etc..

But it will burn any moisture through the engine. I even ran a car on pure denatured alcohol once, a 16v 2.0 vw gli. man. it wouldnt idle below 1800 rpm but it drove awesome. I only did it because i bought the car sitting, i had 3 year old gas in it, and the tank said full. So i added 2 gallons. turns out, the fuel gauge didnt work and it was empty :lol:

they dont call it e 10 in pittsburgh, but it says on the pump "up to ___% methanol" depending on where you go.
